"Ministering Healing To The Hurting"

The Closet at The Upper Room Christian Center is a giving ministry that operates under the Christian Kindness in Action Ministry. We receive regular on-going donations throughout the year of women’s, men’s, baby, kid’s clothes and accessories/toiletries; shoes for all seasons, coats, toys, small household items, and bread.  Donors range from large companies to private citizens.  The Closet organizes periodically "community giveaways" on church grounds and on local town/city green areas, where we go out and reach those in need who cannot reach us.  We have teamed up with Meriden, CT Farmers Market, Good Works Inc of Bloomfield, CT and African Youth Awakening in Accra, Ghana to help those in need.  If you, someone you know is need or looking to donate gentle used items please contact Diane Mullins.
