Q1. Do I have to be a member of Upper Room CT to take a course?
A1. No. Many courses are available online and are open to C.G.O.D. Inc. members.
Q2. If I am not a member of a C.G.O.D. Inc. church, would I be able to enroll?
A2. Yes, you’ll need to obtain a letter of reference from your church leader.
Q3. Are scholarships available?
A3. Yes, scholarships are available along with payment plan options.

Class 100-A: New to URCC
A foundational course for New and Watch Care Members following the URCC Orientation. Students will explore key biblical doctrines—such as salvation, giving, and godly living—while learning about our church's structure and core character.
Class 100-B: CHurch Profile
Designed to help students discover their God-given purpose in His kingdom. Students will explore key ministry roles within and outside URCC—including The Five Gifts of Ascension, Deacons, Missionaries, Ushers, and more—and complete a Spiritual Calling Survey to help identify their specific calling.
Class 101: Beginning Minister's training
Prepares aspiring preachers to communicate God’s Word with discipline and power. Covers ministerial character, sermon construction, and outreach across pulpit, street, and small group settings.
Class 102: Beginning teacher workshop training
Equips teachers to share God’s Word effectively in small groups or congregational settings. Focuses on practical presentation skills, essential teaching techniques, and theological tools like biblical typology and symbolism.

cLASS 201: aDVANCED MINISTER'S TRAINING
Focuses on advanced ministerial duties, spiritual leadership, and practical ministry execution. Prepares ministers to confidently handle preaching assignments, platform etiquette, and sacred ordinances—including Holy Communion, Child Dedications, and Water Baptisms.
cLASS 202: aDVANCED TEACHER'S TRAINING
Builds upon Class 102 to refine advanced teaching skills. Covers end-to-end lesson creation, topic research, classroom preparation, handling dynamic Q&A, and practical implementation of the "10-Minute Teaching Technique."
cLASS 301: mINISTER'S ORDINATION
Designed for students who have completed all pre-ordination advanced training. Elevates spiritual and practical leadership by covering pastoral care when the Pastor is away, officiating weddings and funerals, advanced sermon and Bible study preparation, and techniques like "Tag Team Preaching."
cLASS 401: dEACON/ dEACONESS ORDINATION TRAINING
Prepares Stewards for ordination as Deacons and Deaconesses. Covers ministerial responsibilities, leading in the Pastor’s absence, Bible study preparation, and supporting sacred ordinances (Communion, Baptisms, and Funerals). Requirements include memorizing two full chapters of Scripture and spousal class participation.
cLASS 501: Missionary license
This class builds on Classes 100‑A and 100‑B by teaching the foundational roles and responsibilities of a URCC missionary. After completing the training, students are assigned practical work as Junior Missionaries to gain hands‑on experience.
cLASS 502: Global Missionary ordination
This class is for students who finished Class 501 and completed one year of mentoring. It prepares them to become Senior Missionaries through advanced training, church ordinance support, and memorizing two Bible chapters.
cLASS 601: Mother's training
The Church Mother class prepares senior women, age 65 and older, who have been nominated for this role. It teaches the responsibilities of a Church Mother, including supporting the Pastor and their family. This class is one required step in the larger process of becoming a Senior Missionary.
